Te Tauihu is the largest producer of green-lipped mussels and salmon, and has the largest fishing port in Australasia, making Nelson the ideal place to study aquaculture.

The Aquaculture Learning Lab specialises in easy access, fun, interactive, focused training in aquaculture. Courses vary from 30 min to 5-hours long that can be done on a phone, tablet, or computer. They are full of great videos, podcasts, games and are highly interactive.
