“The ultimate networking event for the New Zealand aquaculture sector  ”

2013 New Zealand Aquaculture Conference, October 24-25, Nelson.

Good for you. Good for New Zealand.

New Zealand aquaculture produces some of the world’s best seafood.  Nutritious and delicious, our Greenshell mussels, Chinook salmon and Pacific oysters are sort after by top chefs and contain a host of nutritional benefits.

Our sustainably farmed products are desired in premium markets across 79 countries and the growing global demand for quality seafood presents New Zealand with a tremendous opportunity to create significant regional jobs and generate essential export earnings.

The 2013 New Zealand Aquaculture Conference will explore that opportunity.

Part inspiring, part strategising and part networking – the industry’s biggest off-water event unites people from all corners of the sector (farmers, processors, exporters, government and councils, marketing, finance/investment, education, research, packaging, transport and lawyers) to help unlock the industry’s full potential.

The 2013 programme features an impressive cast of international and local presenters examining:

  • Environmental and economic sustainability
  • Value added products & marketing
  • Public support and understanding
  • Aquaculture planning and policy
  • Innovation

The ultimate networking event for the New Zealand aquaculture sector takes place over October 24-25, Nelson.

*  Registrations from 8am.
